PNG SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUNDS EAST NEW BRITAIN PROJECTS 01 Aug 2013

The PNG Sustainable Development Project or PNGSDP has funded projects valued to the tune of K30 million in the East New Britain Province. Some of these projects include the K13.7 million Kokopo Town Roads, K4.2 million counterpart funding for Kerevat Bridge in partnership with the World Bank, Cocoa Pod Borer Control and Elimination K2.7m, Kokopo to Vunadidir road K3.7m and the balance to church run projects. PNGSDP Director Rex Paki said their main objective is to work in partnership with the government and churches in development. Mr. Paki added if all stakeholders work together in harmony with PNGSDP they will achieve the vision 2050.
