GRADE 10 STUDENTS NATIONWIDE SIT THEIR FINAL EXAMS THIS WEEK 08 Mar 2012

By Dianne Waketsi Over 45 thousand Grade 10 students this morning set for the Lower Secondary School Certificate Exams, starting off with the English paper. The exam, which is conducted right throughout the country, will run for a week, at 237 schools. Acting Secretary for the Department of Education Luke Taita apologized to the students and parents for a week’s delay of examination, further urging all the students to work hard and wished them best of luck in their exams. Mr. Taita says even though there were problems of exam papers not reaching some arts of our rural areas, this has now been resolved by his department. Meantime, Mr. Taita says once the exams are over, Grades 11 and 12 selections will again put back for about a week due to the delay.
