MISS COSMOPOLITAN 2024, YASMINE TABOGANI SHARES INSIGHTS ON JOURNEY

Yasmine Tabogani, the winner of the 2024 Miss Cosmopolitan Pageant, recently shared her experience and reflections on her journey during an exclusive interview with FM100 Entertainment.
Yasmine, who stunned audiences with her creativity and confidence, described her pageant experience as an opportunity to discover new dimensions of herself, particularly her creative side.
“At first, I thought it was just about modeling, but as the competition went on, I realized it was much more,” Yasmine said. “It’s about how you express yourself through fashion, interpret themes, and build confidence.”
Yasmine took pride in the fact that many of her costumes were self-made, noting that the competition allowed her to explore a side of her creativity that she hadn’t previously tapped into.
“I realized I didn’t need to buy everything. I could make my costumes and have them match the themes in my own unique way,” she shared, adding that this helped build her confidence both on and off the stage.
Despite having previous experience in runway modeling, Yasmine pointed out that pageantry was a very different world.
“Runway modeling is more about the clothes, but in a pageant, it’s about you, how you express yourself through your costumes and interact with the crowd,” she explained.
For her, the pageant stage was more personal, allowing her personality and creativity to shine through.
Winning the Miss Cosmopolitan 2024 crown came as a surprise to Yasmine, who initially joined the competition without any expectations of making it to the final stages.
Tabogani said she was shocked and happy when her name was called, but also felt a little sad. Especially after she had made friends with all the other contestants, and seeing saw the effort they put in.
Her humility shone through as she talked about how she valued the camaraderie formed throughout the competition.
“I wished everyone could have won,” she confessed.
