BSP WATERFRONT BRANCH RE-OPENS DIGITAL BANKING SERVICES

BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has announced a new era of banking with the reopening of its newly refurbished Waterfront branch today, Tuesday, 12th November 2024.
BSP remains committed to enhancing the way in which we serve our customers across our retail branch network as their banking needs continue to change.

The Waterfront branch design offers customers a modern, digitally enabled yet staff-assisted banking experience.
BSP’s Group CEO, Mark Robinson in an interview with FM100 News said with access to banking specialists in branch, customers can benefit from instant account opening, card and pin issuance as well as activation of their online banking options.

Mr. Robinson says at the Waterfront branch, customers can speak to a Lending, Business Banking and Insurance specialist on site or connect to BSP’s Customer Contact Centre for assistance from the in-branch phone.
He says customers want convenient, access to people, offering them simpler and better ways to bank and this is exactly what the newly reopened branch dose.

Meanwhile sharing the same sentiments BSP Group General Manager Retail Ronesh Dayal said over-the-counter cash deposits and withdrawals are no longer available at the Waterfront branch, customers can access the ATMs (for withdrawals) during business hours and when the branch closes.

Alternatively, they can access their accounts using BSP’s Internet Banking, Call Centre or Mobile Banking, BSP Agents or a branch nearby.

Mr. Dayal says this branch obviously differs a bit from the other branches in relation to the services they provide and will be delivered on tablets as this is a digital branch and a non-cash branch where cash withdrawals and deposits will not be taken in the branch.

He says this is one of the many other initiatives that BSP will come up with in the days to come and the bank will be expanding the services that they provide in this branch to the other branches.

He adds that this new banking service will be scaled across all the branches in the country and the region across all the countries that the bank operates in, in the South Pacific.
The Waterfront branch is open 7 days, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and from 9am to 12pm on the weekends.
