PNG MOSQUITOES DEFEAT NEW ZEALAND FALCONS

The PNG Mosquitoes have bagged another of victory over one of the strong Cup contenders in New Zealand this afternoon at the Sunshine Coast’s Maroochydore Sports Complex, Australia.
Led with strong determination and hard work from the skipper John James Lavai, the PNG side outmuscled the New Zealand Falcons and dominated most of the game-time, sending off the New Zealand side in a 20 (3.2) – 10 (1.4) points defeat.
The PNG AFL senior men’s side, Mosquitoes already registered a win over the Fiji Tribe yesterday, and looking set to enter the finals race while they also have other Pacific Islands on target.
Meanwhile, the for the women side, the PNG Flames are fighting for their chances to play the finals and their games against the New Zealand Kahu is still underway.
