LAGAIP MP APPOINTED CHAIR OF LAW AND ORDER COMMITTEE
LAGAIP Open MP Hon. Aimos Akem was appointed as the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Law and Order by the Marape-Rosso Government this afternoon.
The appointment was announced by Leader of Government Business and Internal Security Minister Peter Tsamlili Jnr.
After being elected as the pioneer MP for the new Lagaip District a year ago, the Our PATI parliamentary member has physical stood against the evil forces of tribal fighting and associated law and order issues in the new district and the province installing hope to the hopeless.
This appointment is timely as Akem will continue to address lawlessness and possibly eradicate tribal fighting in Enga Province and with the leadership traits, he has been handling tribal fighting conflicts and associated law and order issues.
He was also appointed as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
