PAGA HIL DEV. HOST SUCCESSFUL CONCERT

The inaugural Paga Hill Estate’s Christmas Festival ended with a blast as showgoers paused to admire the remarkable displays of the fireworks, just before the official closing of the festival on Saturday at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
The festival kicked off at 4pm, where the event sponsors No. 1 Lotto was handing out free scratch cards to every entry that showed their tickets, later that night, the festival’s host announced a winner of K30,000 of the scratch cards.
There was also bouncy castle for kids and over 35 SME booths present at the venue, with heavy police presence and the National St John Ambulance and PNG Fire Service on standby for emergencies.
Highlights of the night saw amazing performances from DJ SHLD, Mereani Masani, Sir George Telek, Sai Kay, Ragga Siai and many more artists.
Member for Moresby North East, Hon John Kaupa asking made a special appearance at the festival thanking the Managing Director (MD) of the Paga Hill Development Estate, Gudmundur Fridriksson for making this festival possible to all families to gather and celebrate in the spirit of Christmas.
His message to the people in the spirit of Christmas is to love one and other and celebrate responsibly.
Speaking in behalf of the MD of the Paga Hill Development Estate, Miss Sophie Goviro who is a Geologist with Paga Hill Development Company said the event turned out as initially planned, bringing together the people to celebrate the festive season, adding that since this is the inaugural, Paga Hill Estate plans to make it an annual event.
She also extended her gratitude to the sponsor, No. 1 lotto for making this possible.
