WABAG DISTRICT SUPPORTS SCHOOLS WITH FUNDS

The Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA) presented a total of K300,000 to three different government schools located in the Irelya Lutheran Mission Station area opening the New Year on a positive note.

Wabag Open MP and Chairman of WDDA Dr.Lino Tom presented K100,000 to Kipuli Memorial Irelya Primary School, another K100,000 to Imambus Elementary School and an additional K100,000 to Lumlumbus Elementary School.

The second term MP highlighted the need of an educated population and urged the administration of each schools to use the funds wisely to provide quality education accordingly going forward.

The People’s Party parliamentary leader announced that he will continue to assist educational institutions throughout the district moving forward.

The Irelya Lutheran Mission Station is located a few kilometers outside of Wabag Town and also hosts the Education Faculty of the Innovative University of Enga.
