FOREIGN MINISTER ANNOUNCES LAUNCHING OF 50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO & THEME
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Justin Tkachenko has announced the official launching of the 50th independence anniversary logo and theme, set for January 30th, 2025 at the Parliament house.
Minister Tkachenko in a statement, said the launching by the Prime Minister James Marape and the National Parliament kick starts a whole range of events leading up to the independence anniversary on September 16, 2025.
The Minister announced that the 50th independence anniversary logo and theme “Celebrating our history and Inspiring our future”.
He adds that manufacturers nationwide will also be celebrating the independence anniversary with their products that have been in the country for over 50 years.
Tkachenko also stated that Bank of Papua New Guinea, will also be releasing new coins and notes, post-PNG will also be producing new stamps and Air Niugini will also rebrand its aircrafts with new logo, all to commemorate the country’s anniversary.
This launch of the logo and theme builds momentum for the 50th independence anniversary.
