NCD TEACHERS ATTEND DEDICATION SERVICE

THE Teaching Service Commission of Papua New Guinea today held a dedication service for almost 3000 National Capital District (NCD)Teachers at the Sioni Kami Memorial United Church in Port Moresby to mark the resumption of Duty for this 2025 academic year.

Teachers from all the primary, Secondary, TVET schools, FODE and other institutions attended the dedication program.

Commissioner of Operations of the Teaching Service Commission, Mr. Maini Mike Ugaia in his opening remarks welcomes the teachers and commended them for the work they have been doing as the nation builders.


He briefly gave a brief history of the missionary teachers and the government teachers in PNG in the 1970’s to the NCD Teachers emphasizing that unless they know their origin, they will not know their future.


The TSC commissioner Operations, also thanked the teachers for their hard-work, dedication, efforts and time as they are the parent of all professions.

He urges the teachers to value their profession and salute them for their services in the country.

Nambawan Super Limited and Moni plus Limited showed support in providing lunch for the 3000 teachers who attended the dedication program.
