DHERST SECRETARY DISPELS RUMOURS OF CONTRACT EXPIRATION

FR Jan Czuba as currently the Acting Secretary for Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) has dispelled rumours of allegations on his secretarial contract expiry.

Fr Czuba confirmed with Kalang News yesterday that he is still in office and will be continuing his duties as the department’s secretary.

“My time will come, I am still in the office.”

He adds that there are proper processes to follow and his term will not be prematurely terminated due to age retirement.

Fr Czuba was responding to a recent article published by local media organization of the appointment of Leon Baki, as the new Secretary for DHERST.

The article stated that Baki was elevated to the role of the Department’s secretary because Fr Jan Czuba has supposedly reached his retirement age (65 years old).
