NIUCARE A SCAM SAYS DEPUTY OPPOSITION LEADER
By Nigel MADO
In light of the huge backlash against the Niucare Scheme, the Deputy Opposition Leader & Chuave MP, James Nomane has decried the attempt calling it a scam. Nomane when speaking to the media said from the perspective of the Opposition they see this as a scam.
Adding that just like Connect PNG, the member called the Niucare strategy another get-rich-quick-money scam. Nomane stated that this scheme has not properly gone through the process of scrutiny.
“It has not received any sort of wider commentary and deliberation, Nomane stated”
“There hasn’t been effective and proper consultation. And it’s just been something that’s just been pushed through to further affect public servants, who are already in debt.
“Public servants who are already struggling to pay the bills, with high inflation, with high taxes.”
Nomane further reiterated that public servants continue to struggle and to impose yet another deduction from their salary, has questioned who would be benefitting from this.
He stated that this is an absolute fraud and a scam. And because of this public backlash, it had been stopped.
