BUTIBAM MANTIS 7s SET FOR 2nd LEG

The Butibam Mantis 7s is set to be an exciting leg of rugby in Morobe Province. Tournament Director, Alo’ofa Gware told FM100 Sports that the tourney is a lead up to the Trans Highway 7s and the Morobe Rugby Union 2025 Season proper.
Gware stated that for the second leg, they have registered up to 24 teams that will be taking part in the tournament and are looking forward to hosting the matches at the Balob Teachers College.
He said this second leg is looking to be an exciting event with Teams such as the PC Ravens and other strong sevens sides looking to make a splash in the tourney.
He thanked the sponsors for the tournament; Nagyam Biyang Construction, Gerbing Jethro Exodus Express Limited and others, adding that their support has been able to give them the chance stage both legs of the tournament.
