KINA BANK & MI BANK LAUNCHES NEW OFFICE IN POPONDETTA

Kina Bank in partnership with Mi Bank officially launched its office in Popondetta, today.
The new office launched is a cashless facility aimed at providing a wide range of banking services to customers in Northern Province.
The office will serve as a hub for customers who wish to open accounts, apply for loans, and access Kina Bank’s market-leading digital banking services.
Kina Bank’s Chief Operating Officer, Roppe Uyassi says, Kinabanks goal is to support access to banking for customers and drive adoption for market-leading digital services.
He says,“ at the kina bank office, we offer all the services that you have in a branch except for cash, we don’t handle cash in these locations”.
Mr Uyassi further expressed that this is the first step into Popondetta market, they look forward to new customers coming on board, existing customers coming to do account maintenance, customers who want to sign up for kina connect, mobile banking services.
This milestone event was witnessed Mibank’s Chief Operating Officer, Fulaiyo James representatives from Higaturu Oil Palm, the Popondetta Chamber of Commerce, and local community members.
The launching of the new office was a collaborative effort between MiBank and Kinabank further strengthening the partnership between the two financial institutions that are in the province.
This also reflects Kina Bank’s ongoing efforts to support economic growth and financial empowerment in Provinces throughout Papua New Guinea.
