AFTER a 10-year hiatus, acclaimed reggae artist Nathan Nakikus is making a highly anticipated comeback with his new album “On the Road Again.” In a recent phone interview, Nathan opened up about the creative process and personal journey behind this long-awaited musical release.

Nakikus, known for his soulful blend of reggae and pop, last released an album in 2012 then 14. During the intervening years, the singer-songwriter focused on his family life, taking a step back to balance his personal responsibilities with his artistic expression.

He told FM100 in a phone interview that;One of the challenges is writing the song. Nakikus shared that; As a family man now, he had to write in a way that will resonate with his audience, while still maintaining his unique artistic identity.

Despite the lengthy break, Nakikus’ passion for music never waned. He continued to draw inspiration from his reggae roots, infusing his new material with the genre’s signature rhythms and uplifting messages.
