PILIKAMBI RFL SEEKS AFFILIATION WITH PNGRFL

THE Pilikambi Rugby Football League in the new Lagaip District of Enga Province has successfully submitted its application for affiliation with the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League (PNGRFL) for the 2025 season.

The application was officially presented to PNGRFL Highlands Development Officer, Mr. James Kundi, at the Mt. Hagen Highlands Regional Office by Pilikambi Rugby Football League newly appointed President Peter Sanga and Sports Coordinator Chris Kurai (pictured) last week.

This submission marks a significant step for Pilikambi Rugby League as they seek recognition and inclusion in the national rugby league structure.

The affiliation process is expected to strengthen rugby league development in the district and provide more opportunities for local talent.

The new Lagaip District is made up of the Pilikambi LLG, Lagaip LLG and Surinki LLG respectively.
