TAMBUL- Nebliyer Open MP Win Bakri Daki announced the construction of the new Telma Bridge for the people of Lower Kagul in Western Highlands Province.

The second term MP, who is also the Minister for Commerce and Industry, mentioned that the new bridge will replace the old one, which collapsed sometimes ago.

“It has been difficult for many to travel, reach schools, transport goods, and stay connected with each other without a proper bridge,” Minister Daki said.

He said that the Tambul-Nebliyer District Development Authority (TNDDA) is now working hard to solve these issues and make things better for everyone.

He sincerely acknowledged TNDDA CEO Philip Talpa for the implementation of this vital infrastructual project which will serve the 12 council wards of the Lower Kagul LLG making traveling easier, helping students get to school, assisting farmers to bring their products to markets and connecting families near and far.

He announced that the official construction of the bridge will begin today with the project expected to complete towards the end of the year.
