Parliament is set to rise today at 2pm and both sides of the house look poised to roll as the Opposition this time will not put forward a Notice of Motion of No-Confidence in the Prime Minister, James Marape, after 5 attempts in the past year.

Although the Prime Minister has survived the last 5 attempts at his removal, he still remains vigilant and so far, has not commented on the development from last week, especially after he was called upon by the Deputy Opposition Leader, James Nomane to step down from the Prime Minister role.

Nomane last week was very vocal in his call for the Prime Minister to step down he said the Prime Minister has lost the credibility of the people, the moral authority. There’s no respect in the Prime Minister across the country adding that this can be seen in the total deterioration in law and order.

He said the Prime Minister has absolutely no idea after six years of being the Prime Minister to fix law and order, to fix the economy, to create employment, to reduce inflation.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister hit back at these allegations stating that he that he inherited the law & order problems from the previous government.
