YOUNG ENGAN MURDERED IN WAIGANI, SITUATION TENSE

A young man, between the age of 28 -29 was brutality murdered in the early hours of today, at Waigani, which causes significant rife and chaos around the Waigani area leading to Morata, where the victim resides.

The deceased/victim hails from Enga Province, and a security guard or officer to a known (named) property in Waigani, and was alledly stabbed to death by Goilalas while on duty.

Reports from eyewitnesses, it was alleged that the deceased was manning the property as usual on his duty, before the Goilalas came to the property demanded him to open the gates.

Following an argument and confrontation, they stabbed him with a knife and he died an hour later around 3am.

In a retaliation, sections of Waigani market where Goilala’s reside to do their market, was set on fire this morning.

Attempts to get comments from Waigani police on the matter is unsuccessful at this time.
