The second term MP mentioned the successful implementation of the first three batches totalling 34,000 hybrids seeds which were received between the month of February and April this year that have been maturing in the nurseries with farmers starting to plant into the fields.

The strong Opposition MP said that the NFDDA expect to plant 41 hectares by the end of June going foward.

The People’s Reform Party founder and parliamnetary leader is optimistic of commercialising cocoa and directly exporting overseas just like the Autnomous Region of Bounganville and East Sepik Province are experiencing.

He encouraged his people to venture into agriculture as the NFDDA is committed to diversify and implement agricultural initiatives throughout the district.
