THEODIST DONATES DESK AND CHAIRS TO ST MARY’S PRIMARY IN CENTRAL PROVINCE

THEODIST Limited as part of their continued commitment to education across Papua New Guinea, recently donated 25 desks and 25 chairs to St. Mary’s Inaui Primary School in Central Province.
The handover ceremony took place alongside the launch of other important community projects and was attended by Members of Parliament, Government Ministers, and Department Secretaries, along with parents, teachers, and students from the school community.
Speaking during the event, Theodist CEO Mr. Kumar Baliah highlighted why this support matters to them as a Papua New Guinean company adding that it is more than just a delivery of desks but a reaffirmation of the values Theodist holds dear; community, education, responsibility, and opportunity
St. Mary’s serves students from nearby villages in the Central Province where access to essential classroom resources is often limited and this donation helps ease the pressure on teachers and creates a more comfortable learning environment for students.
These desks are tools of hope. When students have a desk of their own, it tells them: You matter. Your future matters.”
School Principal Lucy Isoaimo shared her appreciation during the ceremony stating, their gratefulness to Theodist for not only the desk and achaors, but also for their ongoing support to the school and the education sector.
“The special pricing for school orders has helped us save so much. Their customer service keeps us coming back. We look forward to many more years of collaboration.”
This initiative is part of Theodist’s Education Support Program, which reflects their long-standing role in supporting schools and students throughout the country.
Alongside the donation, the school also purchased stationery and learning supplies from Theodist. With support from our school loyalty program, the school was able to maximise its budget and invest in essential classroom tools.
Theodist believes every student deserves access to a quality learning experience.
