GG SWEARS IN JUDGE GRAHAM ELLIS

Grand Chief Sir Bob Bofeng Dadae, Governor General of Papua New Guinea, yesterday officiated the swearing-in ceremony of a new judge of the National and Supreme Courts of Justice.
The Judicial and Legal Services Commission has appointed Graham Ellis as Judge of the Supreme and National Court of Justice for a period of three (3) years.
Justice Ellis recited before the Governor General the oath of Declaration of Office, Declaration of Loyalty and Judicial Declaration.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Chief Justice Chief Sir Gibuma Salika and Deputy Chief Justice Ambeng Kandakasi.
Justice Graham Ellis, an Australian, was a former judge of the Supreme and National Courts of PNG served firstly from 1990 to 1992 then appointed again on September 24, 2009.
He will serve Enga again for three years following the swearing in yesterday.
