Team Papua New Guinea showcased their skill on the court in competitive basketball matches securing two spetacular wins yesterday.
Lune Moses in the men’s division taking the charge and scored 19 crucial points with other playmates displaying exceptional defensive skills to emerge victorious with a final score of 63-56 against Fiji.
The excitement continued as the Women’s team in an electric showdown against New Caledonia, secured the second win for team PNG scoring 76 points against 70.
Team PNG is ready to face new challenges today as the men’s team will take on New Caledonia and women’s team against Fiji.
The FIBA Melanesian Basketball Cup serves as a platform for basketball development and friendly competition among Melanesian nations, and Team PNG is determined to make their mark on the tournament with their skill and sportsmanship.
