KUMULS RETAINED BOWL TITLE

PNG LNG Kumuls aggressively defended their title as the Pacific Bowl Champions in a brutal encounter with the Fiji Batis this afternoon at the Santos National Football Stadium Infront of a massive home crowd.

Their fight to defend their title came to fruition this afternoon with a nail-biting fulltime score of 50 points to 18.

PNG Kumuls dominated the game on the first half with a 30-06 lead.

The Fiji Batis attempted to even out the scores but to no avail as the Kumuls continued on their try scoring streak in the second half arriving at fulltime score of 50 points to 18.

Crafty hooker Edwin Ipape scooped the player of the match.
