8 LLG PRESIDENTS DECLARED TO WIND DOWN “GAZELLE DISTRICT 2025 LLG ELECTIONS”

GAZELLE district in East New Britain province have completed the 2025 LLG elections with the declaration of 8 LLG Presidents this week.
According to information provided by Gazelle Pulse, all presidents-elect are new presidents, ousting the incumbent presidents who lost their seats in the elections.
The respective LLG Presidents Elect for the 8 LLG’s include,
Toma LLG- Elizah Wesley, for Vunadidir LLG- William Waina, Central Gazelle- Emmuel Tangi, Reimber- Benedict Warvakai, Livuan – Saliken Ikilik, Inland Baining- Misiel Waliri, Lassul -LLG- Peter Karanam and
Open Bay LLG- Aron Utmetmga.
Reimber and Livuan LLG were previously combine as one LLG but was recently separated and now has two new Presidents Elected in Mr benedict Warwakai as President elect for Reimber LLG and Saliken Ikilik as President elect for Livuan LLG.
The people have spoken through their votes, this year’s President Election was different from previous LLG Presidents Elections where Presidents were elected by ward members, however it is not the case in the 2025 LLG president elections where people voted in their presidents.
