KAGUA ERAVE DDA STEPS IN TO RETRIEVE STRANDED STUDENTS

KAGUA Erave District Development Authority in Southern Highlands Province has joined the provincial team dispatched to rescue students stranded at the University of Goroka.
Acting District Development Authority CEO Ludwig Orapawa and his team wasted no time in arranging two Coaster Buses and a local police vehicle to join the convoy to Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.
With the assistance of Southern Highlands Provincial Government, additional buses have been hired to have all students moved out.
Meanwhile, for Kagua Erave District it has also offered to transport students from Gulf Province, especially from Kikori so that they can reach their homes through Gulf Southern Highlands Highway (Route 700).
Meanwhile, other provincial governments from the highlands region, Western Highlands and Jiwaka have also sent buses and escort teams as well.
