VONC COURT MATTER ADJOURNED TO DECEMBER

THE Supreme Court will hear the Chuave MP James Nomaneβs Vote-of-No-Confidence motion against Prime Minister James Marape in December.
This was after the presiding Supreme Court judge justice Derek Hartshorn moved the matter last week, Friday, 21st of October 2025 to the 15th of December 2025.
Justice Hartshorn adjourned the hearing to December, giving all parties enough time to prepare for a full and proper hearing.
Chuave MP Nomane filed the Supreme Court application, seeking Parliament Speaker Job Pomat to recall Parliament to allow a motion of no confidence (VONC) against Prime Minister James Marape.
Meanwhile, full hearing is scheduled for Monday, 15 December 2025, to ascertain the relevance of the Section 145 Amendment in the recent parliament proceedings
