ENBPA OFFICIATES SWEARING IN OF LLG ELECTED LEADERS

The East New Britain Provincial Administration is currently officiating the swearing in of all newly elected ward members and presidents from the 4 districts in the province.
The swearing-in program for all ward members and Presidents of the 4 districts commenced on Tuesday this week with Rabaul District at Malagunan Technical school, followed by the Gazelle District yesterday at Kairak Centre and today Kokopo district and Pomio district are both officiating the swearing in of their elected ward councilors and president at Gazelle International Hotel at Palmalmal respectively.
Member for Kokopo Ereman ToBaining Jnr, speaking this morning at the swearing in ceremony, of 59 elected members, commended the East New Britain Provincial Government and its administration and also the people for being the first province in the country to successfully completing a peaceful 2025 LLG Elections.
Mr ToBaining says, it is a record history and a show of maturity from the people of East New Britain to be a leading role model province.
MP ToBaining also urged the elected leaders to work together and ensure service delivery to the people.
The elected leaders will be inducted in January, a fundamental chapter for the leaders to understand their roles and responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the ENB Provincial Election Advisory Committee (PEAC) and Provincial Administrator Levi Mano had said during the final declarations that the number of young leaders voted in this year, reflects the voting population consist of youths in the community.
