GOROKA TO HOST PROVINCIAL DART TOURNAMENT

THE Goroka Lodge will be hosting its second Provincial Dart tournament in Goroka Eastern Highlands Province next month with a total of K25, 000 in cash prizes to be won.
Goroka Lodge and Wild Club Manager Mr Warrick Wild said the games will be hosted next month January 2026 from the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th and calling on interested team to come forward for registration before the 22nd of next month.
He said registration is K1000 for interested teams from provinces throughout the country.
The Dart competition is an initiative of Mr Wild to revive and uphold the once loved gaming Sport in Goroka.
This is the second Provincial Dart tournament hosted at the Goroka Lodge besides other in house Dart competitions hosted at the Goroka Lodge since 2018.
Other dart competition hosted by Goroka Lodge for Goroka Residents only are Christmas/New Year Dart competition & Kids Dart Competition that has seen the involvement of many youths, business houses including students and kids.
Mr Wild says this is to promote the sport and bring people together from diverse backgrounds and create a socio-economic platform for participants.
Teams include Mt Hagen, Simbu, Madang, Lae and district teams from Yonki, Henganofi, Wau, Bulolo, Ramu and Kainantu with many more teams welcomed to register.
