MANUS POLICE URGED TO SERVED WITH HIGHEST STANDARDS DURING END OF YEAR PARADE

POLICE in Manus launched their Christmas and New Year operations last week at Lorengau market, which notably coincided with the Provincial Police Commander’s (PPC) end of year parade.


Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector, John Iara in his remarks, reflected on a challenging year and thanked his police men and women for their dedication, bravery, and service which kept the communities safe.


“As we close the chapter on this year, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. Your efforts have made a real difference in keeping Manus Province secure. Let’s keep moving forward, working together, and serving our people with integrity and professionalism” the PPC said


He thanked the families and support staff, for their unwavering support.


“As we enter a new year, I want to challenge each one of you to recommit to our core values: DISCIPLINE, CONDUCT, and SERVICE. Let’s strive to improve our discipline, uphold the highest standards of conduct, and continue to serve the people of Manus Province with integrity and professionalism.


He urged the police men and women in manus to serve the communities without fear or favour and be beacons of hope and protection.


He further acknowledged and thanked the Manus Provincial Government and its Administration for their unwavering support to the police force, adding that their Your commitment to building police accommodation and providing logistics support has not gone unnoticed.


“I also want to acknowledge and thank all our stakeholders, business houses, and partners who have supported us throughout the year. Your contributions, whether big or small, have made a significant impact on our operations and the lives of our officers. Thank you for your trust and collaboration, he said


The Manus Provincial Police Commander took the time to wish the people of Manus Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and urged them to celebrate responsibly this festive season.


“I urge you to join hands with us in keeping our province safe and secure. Let’s work together to prevent crime and maintain law and order. Report any suspicious activity, support our police officers, and take ownership of our community’s safety. Let’s make this festive season peaceful and enjoyable for everyone. Together, we can make a difference” he said


The Manus top cop reaffirmed his personal commitment to serve the people of Manus, ensuring that the province remains a safe haven.
