NCD GOVERNOR’S CUP RL GRAND FINALS THIS WEEKEND

THE 2025-2026 NCD Governors Cup Rugby League Grand Final has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Saturday ,10 January 2026, at the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium.

Tournament Director of the NCD Governor’s Cup, Mr. Billy Aki, says the brief rescheduling is to ensure that his management team delivers a grand final experience that truly honors the hard work of all athletes.

Mr Aki says, this Saturday will be a historic day of sport in the city, as a conclusion of both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby League Grand Finals, the NCD Governor’s Cup management will also host a unified Grand Presentation Ceremony for the 3 sporting codes, Rugby League, Soccer, and Netball.

Mr Aki thanked the people of NCD for their patience and their unwavering passion for grassroots sports and looks forward to seeing all supporters, fans and communities at the Sir Hubert Murray stadium to this spectacular season.
