PPC BAIM WARNS MADANG RESIDENTS FROM HARBOURING CRIMINALS AND ILLICIT ACTIVITIES

MADANG Provincial Police Commander, Superintendent Robert Baim, issues a clear and stern warning to all residents regarding harbouring criminals, illegal homebrew production, and marijuana (cannabis) activities.
Those who engage in or support such activities will be treated under the law, and law-abiding citizens are urged to continue cooperating with authorities to maintain peace and safety.
PPC Baim sternly warns that individuals who harbour, shelter, or assist criminals will be treated as criminals under the law whilst also adds that production, distribution, or possession of illegal homebrew and marijuana is prohibited and will be subject to enforcement actions.
Police will continue to protect lives and properties and uphold public safety for all Madang residents.
He said Madang celebrated Christmas and the New Year with relative peace. Maintaining this momentum requires mutual respect and mutual assistance among all communities and enforcement measures are intended to deter crime, safeguard communities, and promote a safer environment for all residents.
Current police operations are winding down this weekend, Operation SAIN ABE Unlimited will continue into the year and beyond as necessary to enforce the law. Police will not tolerate actions that contravene the law. The focus remains on protecting lives and properties.
