PUBLIC SERVANTS DEDICATE YEAR TO GOD

ALL Public servants representing government departments in the National Capital District gathered today at the Sir John Guise Indoor Complex for the annual Public Servants Dedication Service, an official ceremony to dedicate the 2026 work year to God.
This annual event is always held around this time just before all government offices open to business operation for the new year.
Prime Minister James Marape commended all the Public Servant and their departmental heads for a great year 2025.
In addressing the public servants in attendance, he says reset and recommit starts with each and everyone and urge all to be accountable for their actions in delivering services to the people.
PM Marape says, every public servants account is not to the ones who are watching them but it is to the one who is unseen.
He urged all public servant to reset, recommit and to make this year successful.
Rev. Matthew Tapus from Christian Apostolic Fellowship, officiated and dedicated the program with the word of God.
Hon. Jason Peter Minister for Community Development and Religion, Hon. Joe Sungi, Minister for Public Service, Chief Secretary to Government Mr Ivan Pomaleu, Chief Magistrate Hon. Mark Pupaka, including Departmental heads, representatives of teh Body of Christ Church were in attendance with the Prime Minister amongst other MPs.
