OVER 60 THOUSAND TEACHERS NATIONWIDE TO RESUME DUTY TODAY

OVER 60, 000 teachers from primary and high/ secondary schools will resume duty today as confirmed by the Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra.
Secretary Kombra dismissed rumours of teachers holding a possible strike today, describing it as an illegal action that was being instigated by an individual person identified as Graham Mondo in his recent post on social media in the past weeks.
The education Secretary told media last week that the PNG Teachers Association, is the only authority that will lead a teacher demonstration or protest and iis the only union that will lead such an action, no individual person, teacher or anyone should lead a protest or demonstration.
He describe the individual Graham Mondo, as psychopath who has been spreading false reports saying all teachers to go on strike today.
Secretary Kombra confirmed, lawyers have been instructed to followup with cybercrime and track the person down and also to confirm if the said person is a real person or someone hiding behind a fake identity to instigate such.
He says, 60, 000 plus teachers has to to start school, the education system has to go on and can not have someone distrupting the process.
Meantime, the 2.8 million students will commence next week 26th of January.
