BSP OPENS NEW DIGITAL BRANCH AT 9MILE

BANK South Pacific has officially opened its new digital branch at Nine Mile Eliseo Plaza marking a major step forward in modern banking for the community.
Speaking at the launch group general Manager retail Banking Ronesh Dayal said the focus is not about doing less, but about doing things smarter and more efficiently.
In just over a month, the branch and its ATMs have already processed nearly 40,000 transactions, with more than 2,000 customers using deposit ATMs to dispense close to one million kina in cash.
The digital push has also seen 1,000 customers join internet and mobile banking and around 50 new wantok wallet accounts registered. Two new cash agents have been signed up in the Nine Mile area, extending reach and inclusion.
Dyal said this innovation means families, workers and SMEs can now access safe and convenient banking without the long queues or costly trips into the city. He added that reliable payments build confidence for businesses and help communities grow.
He added that the Nine Mile branch is proof that the community deserves modern banking that grows with it and BSP is committed to serving the people for many years to come.
