SP BREWERY LAUNCHED ANTI VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN

SP Brewery, through its iconic brand SP Lager, officially launched its Anti‑Violence Campaign— “Join the Generation of Change” a nationwide initiative promoting positive behavior change and safer communities across Papua New Guinea.

Through this campaign, SP Brewery aims to inspire positive action and encourage other corporates and organizations to take an explicit stand against violence.

SP Brewery Managing Director, Ed Weggemans says as part of SP Lager’s corporate social responsibility, the company consider themselves in a unique position to speak out against domestic violence through its iconic brand – SP Lager.

Mr Weggemans encouraged other business entities to support this campaign which is anchored by the key message “No Excuse for Domestic Violence”

Minister for Community Development Youth and Religion Jason Peter was also present to officially launched the campaign together with SP Brewry CEO, and was witnessed by Department of Personnel Management Secretary Taes Sansan, Somare Institute of Leadership and Governance (SILAG) Mr Michael Barobe, invited guest, staff and the media.

The launching of the campaign was at the National Parliament State Function room yesterday.
