BRIAN Bell Group has presented a K25,000 cheque to the Salvation Army, the 2025 recipient of the Wish Tree Programme.
Speaking at the event, Brian Bell Groupβs chairman Ian Clough said the donation was raised through customers purchasing two-kina Christmas baubles during the festive season, with funds topped up by the Sir Brian Bell Foundation.
Clough said the Wish Tree Programme operates nationwide to support organisations that do important work across Papua New Guinea.
He said the Salvation Army was selected in Port Moresby for its long-standing partnership and community services, including counselling, food assistance, disaster response and the Red Shield Appeal. Mr Clough thanked customers and staff for their support, saying Brian Bell is proud to be 100 percent Papua New Guinean and to have served the country for 68 years.
The presentation was held at the Gordons Plaza in Port Moresby on Friday.
