CPL FOUNDATION PRESENTS K110,000 CHEQUE TO SUPPORT TATANA LIBRARY

CITY Pharmacy Limited Foundation Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to early childhood education with the presentation of a K110,039 cheque to support the Buk bilong Pikinini Tatana Library Learning Center.

The Foundation is a long-standing Diamond Sponsor that will use the funds to cover the centre’s annual operational costs, including educator salaries, learning materials, utilities and special events.

Foundation Manager Deborah Alois presented the cheque to Buk bilong Pikinini Executive Officer Leanne Resson during a ceremony in Port Moresby and thanked Buk bilong Pikinini for the strong partnership and for the important work they continue to do for children across Papua New Guinea.

Meanwhile, Ms. Leanne Resson, Buk bilong Pikinini Executive Officer, in accepting the cheque, thanked CPL Foundation Inc for their support.

Last year alone, more than 60 children were enrolled at the Tatana centre, with 46 graduating from the early learning program and the centre achieving a 95 percent overall assessment score.
