WOMEN’s MICRO BANK SIGNS MOA WITH NAKANAI DISTRICT

THE Nakanai District has officially signed a partnership with the Women’s Micro Bank (Mama Bank), aiming to provide financial Support to the people of Nakanai district, West New Britain Province.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed today at Mama Bank HQ Training Hall with the Member for Nakanai.Francis Galia Maneke and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Womenβs Micro Bank Limited Gunanidhi Das.
Speaking at the MOA signing, Member for Nakanai, Francis Maneke, said the MOA is a bridge towards the enhancement for local SME in the Nakanai district through the Mama bank’s financial services.
He added that having opportunities like this enables the development and growth of the small businesses especially local SME and oil palm growers.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Womenβs Micro Bank Limited Gunanidhi Das expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it opens avenues for financial collaboration with the Namatanai informal sectors.
He added that this MOU is a major opportunity for Bank to support Namatanai District in providing access to banking, financial support and innovative services products.
CEO Das also emphasized that ater the signing they will work forward to bring the service to the district.
Maneke thanks the continuous support from the Bank and looks forward to the launching of the agreement.
