IBSU HOST AI CONFERENCE ON BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION & ECONOMIC GROWTH

THE Centre for Research and Innovation at the IBS University hosts a two-day National Conference with the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation and Economic Growth” at IBS University campus in Port Moresby.
The National Conference is designed as a platform that brought together academics, researchers, and other professionals in business, government, IT and students to discuss AI transformation in business and economic growth.
Secretary for the Department of Information, Communication and Technology, Steven Matainaho as guest of honor, in opening remarks says AI is rapidly transforming industries worldwide by improving efficiency, decision making and innovation.
Datec General Manager Corporate Sales, John Pulu also emphasized that AI is not only a technology trend but more so an opportunity for the country to move forward.
The conference program featured series of panel discussions, technical sessions and research presentations by experts.
Meanwhile recognizing the growing importance of AI, IBS University is committed to fostering dialogue and collaboration that will strengthen business system, support public sector modernisation and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
