SNAX TIGERS AIM FOR BACK-TO-BACK TITLE

LAE Snax Tigers is aiming for a back to back win this season after being crowned the champions in the 2025 Digicel Cup Competition.
Head Coach Noel Zeming said from their squad last year, they have retained almost 60% of their players while some have moved on to other teams and to SP PNG Hunters.
Zeming said 40% of their players from last season have moved on but all in all, the majority of the players for this year are new.
He said after a trial match during the weekend with Miles United that they will trim down some players rhis week and finalize the squad.
Zeming said this year will be tough as all teams will be aftering them as the premiers from last year.
He said his team now have a good balance as they have both young and experienced players in the team.
Zening said rugby league has become a full-time employment now with many pathways not only Hunters but from outside too and challenge the players to have goals and plans for themselves and work towards it.
He said their aim for Snax Tigers this season is to win back to back titles.
