KALANG & NFA BRINGS SMILES TO BORN FREE SANCTUARY KIDS WITH GIFT BAGS

CHILDREN at Born Free Sanctuary were all smiles yesterday, after receiving gift bags from Kalang Advertising Limited in partnership with the National Fisheries Authority.

The sanctuary provides a safe haven for orphans, neglected children and those who have experienced abuse.

NFA through its Sunday night Gospel sponsored show, have supported Kalang in the “Share the Love” initiative drive to give back to the community.

Through the “Share the Love” initiative, similar donations were also presented to the Chesire Homes, the Port Moresby General Hospital Children’s Cancer Ward and recently to the Born Free Sanctuary.

Born Free Sanctuary, have been providing care to vulnerable children since 2016, ensuring the children are given the care and love they need.

Dean of Born Free Sanctuary, Tracey Kaiulo thanked Kalang Advertising Limited and NFA for the donation.

She confirmed, the Sanctuary currently looks after 43 children, 25 girls and 18 boys raging from 3 years to 24 years.

Kaiulo says, her role as the Dean is to ensure the children are organised and responsible, and also they part take in devotion, attending Sabbath service apart from going to school.

The Centre receives its support from Operation Food For Life- a Seventh Day faith‑based humanitarian charity in Papua New Guinea that provides food, shelter, education, and emotional support to vulnerable groups, including abandoned children, orphans, hospital patients amongst others.
