FORMER OPPOSITION LEADER AMONG NEW MINISTERS APPOINTED IN CABINET RESHUFFLE

FORMER Opposition Leader and member for Kiriwina Goodenough Douglas Tomuriesa is amongst the newly appointed ministers in the recent cabinet reshuffle taking on the role as Civil Aviation Minister.

In making the announcement during the recent swearing in ceremony, Prime Minister James Marape said Mr Tomuriesa as taken other ministerial roles and is not new, now serving his third term as a member of parliament.

Prime Minister Marape described the Aviation ministry as a very important portfolio for Tomuriesa to take on and alot more work to be done.

Othee appointment include Member for North East John Kaupa, Environment and Conservation Minister, Saki Saloma Minister for Labour and Employment, Robert Naguri takes on Information and Communication Technology Ministry, Agena Gamai takes on Livestock ministry and Francis Kikin as Education Minister.

Prime Minister James Marape when speaking on the occasion, congratulated the new Minister’s as they take on the new Ministry portfolios.
