PNG INTERNATIONAL CROWNED -BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIPS “PLAYER OF THE YEAR”
PNG International Gairo Voro is crowned the England’s 2026 Betfred Championships challenge Cup Player of the year after a stellar performance in his first ever season with London Broncos outfit.
Voro, including Kumul team mates in Robert Mathias, Alex Max, Finley Glare and Morea Morea made bold and statement appearances in the United Kingdom’s competition, guiding Broncos to a successful season with ultimate grandfinal decider this Sunday against Doncaster.
The Championships challenge Cup competition executives announced Voro as the Player of the Year earlier today, adding that his brilliant debut season and top form also earned his the PNG Chiefs development player contract as well as opportunity to grab the Kumuls jumper again for the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.
