ASE BOAS TO SUPERVISE RIGO RICE CUP IN POM NORTH EAST

The Rigo Rice Cup Host Organising Committee delightfully made an announcement today in Port Moresby, leading up to the first edition of its tournament on November 09th.
It was announced that former PNG Kumuls and PNG Hunters premiership winning half back, Ase Boas was included into the KCK Rigo Rice Cup team.
Ase Boas today was appointed as the tournament coordinator for Rigo Rice Cup in the Port Moresby North East suburb.
This appointment was formalised by the KCK Rigo Rice Cup CEO Mcsteve Polly today in Port Moresby after a formal meeting with Boas and the Rigo Rice Cup Team.
Rigo Rice Cup CEO Mcsteve Polly noted that Ase Boas’ has immense experience from various top tier rugby league competitions around the world. He said they are glad that he will be sharing it to the younger generation of rugby league players.
“Participating teams in the Port Moresby North East suburb will have the privilege to be mentored by one of Papua New Guinea’s renowned rugby league greats.”
The inaugural Rigo Rice Cup Championship will be played in four different pools in Port Moresby, and will resume after the official launching on November 09th, 2024.
This tournament aims to be the biggest tournament in the country in the long term, with more than K300,000 cash prizes to be won in the first edition.
