FODE TO BE ACCESSED IN WEST COAST NEW IRELAND THROUGH WCDF PARTNERSHIP

CEO for Social Sector, New Ireland Provincial Administration, Apelis Benson vouches to bring FODE to the doorstep of the West Coast people through a possible partnership with West Coast Development Foundation also known as WCDF.

This was revealed during the launch of the West Coast Foundation Training Cente.

Mr Benson was impressed with the establishment of this training hub to serve the people of wards 15 – 18 of West Coast Mandak and parts of Barrok, Sentral Niu Ailan LLG who have been neglected and had no access to such service.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Mesulam founder of West Coast Development Foundation, says the Training facility was funded by Digicel Foundation at a cost of K50, 000 under Digicel Foundation Community Grant.

The facility is powered by solar green energy and it took 5 months to build.

It will serve over 5000 people from the villages of ward 15 to 18 in the Central New Ireland LLG.
