CPL FOUNDATION CELEBRATES 10TH GRADUATION OF TATANA BBP LIBRARY

THE Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) Tatana Library Learning Centre (BbP Tatana LLC) recently celebrated a significant milestone with its 10th graduation ceremony alongside the CPL Foundation Inc. under the CPL Group.

CPL Foundation Inc. has been in partnership with BbP for more than a decade and recently renewed its commitment (2023 to 2027) to cover the annual operational cost for the BbP Tatana LLC, a five-year sponsorship agreement worth half a million kina, which ensures the library’s ongoing support for early childhood education.

The graduation was held at the Tatana United Church Hall, with 56 young graduates, this year’s graduation shows a significant increase in the number of children who have gone through the BbP Tatana LLC early childhood learning program compared to last year’s 27, marking the peak of their early childhood learning journey.

The BbP program prepares children aged 5 and under, for elementary school, equipping them with foundational skills to excel in their educational paths.

The ceremony brought together parents, teachers, and community stakeholders to celebrate this transformative milestone.

Speaking at the event, Deborah Alois, CPL Foundation Manager, congratulated the students and parents, emphasizing the Foundation’s mission to empower communities through education, health, and entrepreneurship.

She said CPL Foundation is honoured to be part of this journey and they are excited to continue supporting the BbP Tatana LLC as it inspires young minds and uplifts our communities
