FOUR INJURED IN YUMI YET BRAWL

AT least four people were injured last night in the lead up to New Year at the Yumi Yet Compound in Gerehu, Port Moresby following an all-out brawl between the tenants of the compound and the Guards looking after the compound.
According to the victims [Names withheld] the brawl had eventuated when a number of security guards had advised the tenants to keep their music to a bare minimum level but an argument ensued, sparking the violence.
Police were called in to solve the fighting, fortunately no life-threatening injuries were reported from both sides.
Of the Four victims, to suffered minor injuries and bruises, the third had suffered a dislocated shoulder and the fourth an open Laceration to the left side of his face, needing treatment and a puncture wound.
Two were taken to the Port Moresby General Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, this newsroom had tried to reach out to the police for a comment on the situation but were not able to get a comment.
