BSP TO ROLL OUT DEPOSIT ATMs IN PNG

BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has announced that it will be rolling out deposit ATMs across the country this year. This will see an upgrade to BSP’s 600 ATMs in the country.

BSP through a partnership with NCR Atleos a company that specializes in providing self-service banking services globally will be rolling out this initiative.

BSP Group CEO Mark Robinson together with NCR Atleos Sales Manager for New Zealand and Pacific Peter Corkery have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to signify this partnership.

BSP CEO Mr. Robinson whilst commenting on the partnership said this partnership shows that BSP is committed to modernizing its banking services to meet the evolving needs of its customers, both in Papua New Guinea and the other six countries in the Pacific in which it operates in.

He says through this partnership, they are embarking upon a major upgrade of the Bank’s ATM fleet, putting in place ATMs that are equipped with cutting-edge technology to deliver greater reliability and enhance customer experiences.

He adds that BSP will be the first commercial bank in the country to have ATMs that allows for deposits done at the ATMs without having to visit the branches this will see reduced queues, reduce in-branch traffic, whilst offering a much more efficiently convenient way to serve customers.
