SURINKI LUTHERAN SECONDARY SCHOOL PARTICIPATES IN COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Surinki Lutheran Secondary School (SLSS) located along the Lagaip and Wabag electoral border did a general clean up of surrounding villages as part of its ongoing Community Service program.

SLSS Principal Peam Yakali highlighted that as part of the school’s community service, staff and students did general clean up in  Yunaris, Yailingis and Momares villages during their school service time yesterday.

“We took this step as a message to the surrounding community to changr their mindset and allow peace in the community,” Yakali said.

She anounced that the school will conduct a major peace awareness in Yunaris, Yailingis and Momares on April 02, 2025.

“We therefore, call upon the leaders, councilors, pastors, church’s and people of the mentioned places in Sirunki to support and be part of the peace agenda we are advocating,” she said.

The Surinki constituency is known for its abundant supply of fresh fruits and vegetables including the favorite Surinki Strawberry, brocollis, pea beans, carrots,potatoes and cabbages.
